By car: Plus Code XFC8+R5 on Google Maps (DG1 4RU on sat nav) will bring you to the car park at Castle Corner, which is on the edge of the nature reserve. Please note, the car park at Castle Corner has a height restriction barrier; there is another car park at Hollands (DG1 4RS)

By bus: take the Dumfries to Caerlaverock route to the Caerlaverock bus stop

By train: the nearest station is Dumfries (8 miles) on the Carlisle to Kilmarnock line

By bicycle: take NCN Route 7 (Glasgow to Carlisle) > Milton to Annan; there is a bicycle rack in both car parks
